An Adopted Squirrel That Purrs Like A Cat

We all already know of stories relating how an animal from one specie has adopted a baby from another specie, right? But have you ever heard of a baby squirrel that, after being adopted by a cat, learns how to purr? Believe it or not, it’s true! Emmy the cat adopted a cute little baby squirrel that had fallen off it’s nest in a tree and she is treating him just like she does all of her other kittens! In return the baby squirrel has started to adopt cat behaviors like the very adorable habit of purring when being patted!

Yes, you read right! The squirrel purrs like a cat when he is being held and someone pets him 😉 Isn’t that adorable? Of course now because the squirrel was raised by cats, he thinks he is cat, so he will never be able to survive on his own in the wild, but domesticating him to save his life, I think it’s a very good trade off! Now the little squirrel will just have to live a pampered life in a human house, being treated like a cat! 😉
