Has your pet ever watched TV? Have you heard of the new LG 4K HD TV? 4K television is pretty darn amazing, especially the LG 4K TV, which you seriously have to watch the funny animal video later in this post to see what I mean. It will amaze you! If you think your regular high definition TV has clarity, then you should see the LG 4K TV. A current HDTV has 1,920 pixels which are the tiny dots that make up the picture, across the width of the screen. If there are more pixels, the image is sharper. A 4K TV has 3,840, which is close to 4k, hence the name. So the clarity is that much greater.
I am fascinated by 4K TV and, as you will see in the video, pets are also amazed by it. But first, a couple of stories about dogs and cats watching TV!

Ty above is the photographer in the family. In fact, we recently got a portable action video camera that can shoot in 4K, so a 4K television purchase is definitely on our radar. But it is the still photos on TV that seem to create havoc with our pets. Our corgi Eve will sometimes watch television, often from the bed. But one day, she was just hanging out on the sofa while I was watching the news, when a still photo of the Mars Rover came on. Eve jumped up and began barking like a mad dog at the television, stopping only once the image was removed. We later hooked up my husband’s computer to the TV with the same photo in order to recreate it. Nothing else has ever set her off that way!
Years ago, I also had a cat who would constantly look behind the television for things that caught his attention. I purposely bought a video of birds for him to watch, and he would spend a lot of time running between the front and the back of the television! You can see some other pets doing the same in the video below. It is super cute.
Anyway, I can only imagine what would happen if we had a big 40″ LG 4K Television and the Mars Rover came on! I also imagine that my husband would never get off of the couch. As in never, ever again. I probably shouldn’t show him the video because then he will buy one and our lawn will never get mowed again. Then again, I really want one of these TVs myself!

So, here is a funny video that shows just how amazing this TV is. This is a must watch item! It also is super cute. If you are a fan of funny cat videos and funny dog videos, this is for you.
Note, you can also learn more about the TV on the LG Facebook Page and YouTube Channel, and you can learn how to purchase the LG 4K TV here.

Wow! That is really interesting to watch. I almost feel like it is too realistic and a big dog might break it trying to get what was on TV. But totally awesome, I want one too!
Yeah, I think I would prefer to see it on my wall than on the floor!
So cute! My boxer watches TV all the time – very intently like he actually understands what they’re saying lol
Ha this is adorable. My dog loves the one show with prairie dogs, I forget the name.
I learned that 4K video capture of major motion pictures is rapidly becoming the standard in Hollywood
I love watching animal videos, brightens my day!
