Some people can’t tell the difference between a mouse and a hamster. Can you? One easy difference to spot is the tail, mice have long tails and hamsters have short tails. In general, hamsters are bigger than mice, but dwarf hamsters can be about the same size as a mouse, so size is not everything! Another distinction is that hamsters have cheek pouches to store food which makes their face look bigger, and mice don’t. Will you be able to differentiate a mouse than a hamster next time you see one? Here is a jigsaw puzzle of a beautiful white mouse.
