Something I have been interested in for awhile are hemp-based CBD (cannabinoid) supplements. CBD from hemp has been used for all sorts of conditions, especially for things like itching, anxiety, and joint mobility. When Ty was undergoing chemotherapy for his lymphoma, I considered using it then, as some pet owners report that it can help with gastrointestinal side effects. Both of my dogs also have mobility issues, and I give them green lipped mussel to help with that, so I was intrigued by the Therabis™ product, Up and Moving, which combines whole-plant cannabinoids, hemp powder, green lipped mussel, Vitamin C, Chromium, and Vitamin E, to help promote joint mobility. Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring chemical compound found in hemp that interacts with the endocannabinoid system, which is thee central regulatory system known to affect bodily processes such as digestion, mood and sleep.

Now, before you think that a hemp product will make your pet high, that is not the case. Hemp is not the same as marijuana. Hemp is typically used for things like fiber, paper and nutrition, and contains less than .3% THC by law. So, neither people nor dogs experience any sort of high when they use hemp-derived products. Therabis’ founder and veterinary expert, Dr. Stephen M. Katz, spent a lifetime researching, developing and perfecting the Therabis natural formulations with three specific formulations: Stop the Itch, Calm and Quiet and Up and Moving. Each contains a proprietary hemp cannabinoid blend.

I have been giving the Therabis Up and Moving formulation to Ty and Eve once per day in place of their green lipped mussel powder and the results have been good. Eve, who has a chronic hip strain, has been moving particularly well lately. In fact she recently has been running for the door to come inside complete with a big agility-type leap into the door. That makes me very happy to see! Ty too has been extra active lately.

Therabis Up and Moving is perfect for dogs with hip dysplasia, arthritis , or other inflammatory mobility conditions. I like that it combines whole-plant cannabinoids, hemp powder,
green lipped mussel, Vitamin C, Chromium, and Vitamin E, to help promote healthy joints since I have long been a fan of green lipped mussel use. I haven’t seen a lot of supplements that incorporate it, and was delighted to find that Therabis included it. The formula can help dogs with difficulty walking, going up stairs, or jumping.

The formula is super easy to use. It comes packaged in a single-serving sachet and is formulated to be tasty for your pet.

Therabis Up and Moving is available in 3 different sizes and also available for subscription delivery. Also available are formulas for itching and anxiety.

Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
We’ been reading about Therabis and other like products. Quite interesting.
This sounds like a brilliant product for dogs with mobility issues. I’m really pleased that Ty seems brighter too after using it.
I’ve not heard of Therabis before. I have been fortunate that my dog has not experienced any issues to date, but will definitely look into this product and keep it in mind. Thank you
So glad you guys are enjoying this product. I’ve just tried a CBD product on a dog with anxiety with great results. I’ll take a peek at this product. Thanks!
I think it helps Eve with Thunderstorm anxiety too, even though I am giving her the Up and Moving formula.
I will have to try this for Henry – he tries to keep up with his younger brother and, at the age of eleven he is not able to without feeling sore the next day! I also love the ingredients and that it helps itching – Henry also suffers from allergies (food and environmental).
I love CBD for animals and have seen its positive effects! What a wonderful product, and so easy to use.
I don’t know which I enjoyed better, learning about this product or your pet’s photos. There is no doubt that this can make a big difference in our pets. I plan to stay abreast on this learning.
My niece’s dog suffers from itching and anxiety. I bet this would be a great product to help him find some relief.
It’s amazing how many health benefits come from products derived from the cannabis plant! I’m glad that you found something that helps Ty with his mobility issues. Thanks for sharing about this product!
I still have my reservations about using such things willy-nilly. I would, however, use it if we had a serious problem without a great solution.
I’ve been looking at something for joints. Is it flavored? Mr. N won’t eat mussels.
I’m glad it is helping your dogs! I wonder if this would help my Maltese. She has a lot of allergies and summer is the worst time of year for her.
This is definitely something I should share with my mom for her dog. Bandit is 10 years old now and is beginning to show some joint issues. He also gets very anxious with storms or fireworks.
We are just starting to introduce CBD Infused treats and salve for a couple of our pups, and it seems like it may be just the thing!
Thanks for sharing information about this product. I had no idea it can help with more than just mobility but also anxiety too. I like that the packets are proportioned so it’s easy to mix in food. I wish your Corgi healing and blessings!
