Last year I posted good news that Ty had been enrolled in the T-cell project and my blog post, When Your Dog Has Lymphoma, was nominated for a Nose to Nose award. Both happened on the very same day.
Now another year has passed and I am preparing again to head to Blog Paws, where I am again nominated for a Nose to Nose Award for my post, Blogging Adversity and the Journey From Helplessness to Hope. But more important, today marks the two-year anniversary of Ty’s lymphoma diagnosis. He remains happy, healthy, and in remission. In another month he will reach the two-year remission mark.

Every day in remission is a good day, every week in remission is a good week, every month in remission is a good month, and every year in remission is a good year.
Actually, every day with a loved pet is a good day.

Congratulations on the two year mark and for your Nose-to-Nose nominations! Lymphoma is scary and there is nothing worse than seeing your pet sick. I’m so happy that all is well.
Congrats on the nomination. I’m very happy to hear Ty beat the odds and is now cancer free and remains so! What a blessing. Cute picture too.
Congratulations on your nominations and best of luck at the awards. So glad Ty is doing well.
This is such good news, on several fronts. Most of all, congrats to you and Ty for him maintaining his health!
Yay! Congratulations to Ty for being in remission. That is one of the biggest awards that he could receive. It is very refreshing to see a pet that has been able to win the battle with Lymphoma. Congrats on the Nose-to-Nose Award nomination too. 🙂 I am very happy for you.
Congrats on the nomination and Ty being in remission! Have a fun trip.
Oh so true, love spending as much time as I can with my two dogs and parrot!
Such good news for Ty, a celebration is definitely in order. Congrats on your nose to nose, hope to meet you this year at BlogPaws!
Congrats on the ward nomination and huge “Yay!” on the remission. So happy Ty looks so well.
Hi, Chloe’s mom here. So happy to hear that Ty is in remission! Your photo tells the story. There is so much love in Ty’s sweet and expressive eyes. You said it well…every day with a pet is a good day.
Congratulations on your award nomination! Hope to meet you at the conference.
All of those are great things to celebrate! Both blog posts are well written and inspiring, but of course the best thing is Ty’s remission. I think it is wonderful that you are able to share your knowledge and encourage others who are dealing with canine cancer.
